The large midwestern earthquake this morning caused damage in St. Louis. We are fine. We slept through it and didn't notice any damage where we are. Apparently we are just a couple of miles far enough southeast of the epicenter to have escaped any actual damage.

I felt it at my house in North Carolina this morning! Some coworkers did too. Weird...
I was reading your blog and see you are going to be adopting. We were working with our local agency trying to adopt by fostering and after a year we were no closer...I don't want to discourage you by any means, but be ready for a long wait. We are not going through a local adoption agency and will be adopting in the next year. Best of luck. Tracey
